The signing of procurement contract 2 (two) units of aircraft NC212i was held on 17 March 2017 between PTDI and A.I.C.E. Enterprises (Thai) Co., Ltd. The remaining 1 (one) aircraft unit of the Procurement contract of 2 (two) units of NC212i aircraft is planned to be handed over by the end of this year.
This NC212i aircraft can be used as passenger transport, VIP, cargo, rain making, troop/paratroop transport and medical evacuation that can be installed in turn in accordance with the operational needs of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperative ( MOAC) Thailand. The NC212i aircraft has been fully undertaken by PTDI, meaning PTDI is the only aircraft industry in the world that currently manufactures NC212i aircraft.
PTDI has been successfully dispatching aircraft and helicopters, both domestic and overseas, as many as 443 units. PTDI has managed to produce NC212 aircraft as many as 114 units for domestic and overseas, from a total of 585 units of NC212 series aircraft population in the world.
The domestic operator who uses NC212 series aircraft is TNI AU, TNI AD, TNI AL, police, BPPT, where the NC212 series aircraft is used for civilian transport aircraft, military and Maritime Surveillance Aircraft (MSA). While the foreign operators were Thai countries for military transport aircraft and weather modifications (rain making), the Philippines and Vietnam for military transport aircraft.

In 1999, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MoAC), Thailand purchased 2 units of CN235 Military Transport.
